My life’s journey began in Stockholm, Sweden. I suffered two major losses as a young girl. My mother and grandmother passed away a few weeks apart due to illness. These events marked the beginning of many years of focusing outside of myself and self-destructing.
I first awoke to a more soulful existence at age 30. A near death experience became a catalyst for a powerful vision and a deepening awareness of my unique strengths. I realized that I had strayed from my joyful, creative self and so began the journey home to my authentic self.
As I heeded the call from my soul, serendipitous events started to occur. I soon met with my husband, American singer/songwriter, Dave Tate.
We got together in the red rock desert of Southern Utah to record an album, fell in love, and were married on a sage brush hill in Zion National Park.
It was on this new journey of self-discovery and transformation that I was introduced to Shamanism and the healing effects of the natural environment.
I graduated from the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition Apprenticeship Program – Peruvian Shamanic Arts For Personal And Planetary Renewal - in 2012.
This in-depth two year cross-cultural program led by respected teachers Don Oscar Miro-Quesada and Bonnie Glass-Coffin, Ph.D. emphasizes personal healing as a necessary preparation for client work.
More recent studies include “The Art And Practice of Shamanic Healing: A Three -Year Professional Training And Initiation” with renowned teacher Julie M. Kramer.
My connectedness to the earth’s healing wisdom and the divine feminine awakened me to my true path. I feel so grateful and excited whenever I have an opportunity to share these ancient medicine ways with others.
The time is now to stand for love, hope, and positive change so that we may all experience greater harmony within and without.
